Overview We offer a variety of teen programs including: Character workshops Lake Norman Teen Council Photography Art classes Lake Norman Teen Council The Lake Norman Teen Council is run by teens and creates programs and volunteer opportunities for local teens. This group provides:

• Service projects
• Workshops
• College campus visits
• Recreational trips and activities such as: ski trip, movie night, teen band night and pool party

The council develops program curriculum. Administrative support, facilities, chaperones, and transportation are provided by the Parks and Recreation Departments of Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. 
Becoming a Teen Council Member

If you are interested in becoming a member of the council, please attend a meeting. Monthly meetings normally take place at Davidson Parks and Recreation office on the second Tuesday of each month throughout the CMS school year. Sign-up sheets will be available for the council and for our monthly volunteer projects.
