During the fall months, the Town of Davidson Public Works Department collects leaves to clear roads and streets.

Below are some tips to assist with collection efforts.

Allied Waste will collect bagged leaves when picking up yard debris. By using brown biodegradable trash bags, you help crews work more efficiently and easily identify your bags as leaves.

Our goal is to collect leaves every day in the fall and then on an as needed basis. Rain slows us down since wet, heavy leaves mean more trips.

The intended collection route is as follows:

We appreciate your support and patience. We will collect your leaves as quickly as possible.The Town will not remove leaves collected by a contractor or lawn service. If you have someone maintaining your trees and yard, it is their responsibility to dispose of yard waste. Piles of unbagged leaves must be placed at, and parallel to, the curb line. Leaves must be free of limbs, gravel or debris. Foreign objects will damage the equipment and delay pick up times.
