3. Where are the meeting minutes?

Minutes from town board meetings, work sessions and other special sessions are available to review online. Minutes are archived online for the past year and minutes from previous years are available for review at town hall.

4. Who appoints people to advisory boards?

The Board appoints members to the planning board, design review board, parks and recreation advisory board and greenways, trails and bikeways advisory board. Citizens may submit an application for consideration. Appointment terms vary and members rotate on and off the board. Advisory Board Application

5. Who can run for Mayor or Commissioner?

Anyone interested in running for elected office must be a Davidson resident and be 18 years of age by election day.

6. How do I run?

Visit the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections Office, register yourself as a candidate, and pay your filing fee.

7. When do I file?

Filing typically occurs in July.

8. How long do elected officials serve?

Elected officials each serve two-year terms.
