Lenity Group Charrette for "The Pinnacle" Site
The site for the proposed Davidson Retirement Residence, commonly referred to as “The Pinnacle”, is located at the most southern end of Peninsula Drive and is currently undeveloped. The owner and developer of the site, Hawthorne Development, is proposing a 4-story, 115-suite retirement residence. This senior housing concept is proposed for those who are still ambulatory but in need of some support. Hawthorne Development has submitted a Conditional Planning Area master plan application for this site.
The Conditional Planning Area process invites the public to participate during several stages of plan development, but the most critical opportunity is during the initial charrette. Most charrette events will be held at Davidson Town Hall, unless otherwise noted below:

Wednesday, January 5
9:00 a.m. - Site Visit (South end of Peninsula Drive)
11:00 a.m. - Stakeholder interviews (Town Hall)
3:00 p.m. - Open Studio and Public Q & A Session (Town Hall)
Thursday, January 6
1:00 p.m. – Open Studio (Town Hall)
7:00 p.m. – Public Pin-Up Presentation and Discussion (Town Hall, Board Room)
The purpose of this charrette is the receive input from all citizens and interested parties on the proposed Davidson Retirement Residence. You are encouraged to participate in the site visit, public Q&A session, and the pin-up session. The information and input received at the charrette will be considered during the design workshop and throughout the approval process.
