The Town of Davidson is applying for Community Development Block Grant funding to replace the play feature and picnic shelter at Roosevelt Wilson Park and install sidewalks along Mock Road and Houston Street. In order to get approval for the funding, the town has to show that the project benefits low- and moderate-income persons. The qualification must be done through an on-the-ground, door-to-door survey of a small portion of the census tract. We will need volunteers to help us in mid-May with conducting surveys. Please stay tuned for details on how to sign up. If you live in the census tract where we will be conducting the surveys, we hope you’ll participate.
