On Saturday, May 8, come enjoy the Lake Norman Bike Expo 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Plum Creek Park. Join the guided greenway ride (10 miles) starting at 9:00 a.m. Anyone age 14 -17 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring the whole family for the Family Bike Ride at 10:30 a.m. or the Kids' Bike Rodeo which will be offered from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is free but pre-registration for the Community Bike Ride(s) is required. Registration for the family ride and the rodeo is not required.  A bike helmet and face covering is required for all activities. If you are unable to afford a bike helmet for yourself or your child, we may be able to help. Email

The Davidson Mobility Plan - a Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) which evaluates Davidson’s transportation infrastructure, including cars, bikes, and pedestrians- was adopted by the town board on August 27, 2019.  You can learn more at
