Davidson Town Center Plan

The Davidson Town Center Plan developed through a series of over 40 public meetings and was adopted by the Town Board in January 1998. The goals outlined in the plan include:
  • Reinforce the town center's role as the community's commercial, civic, and cultural center
  • Position the downtown to benefit economically from growth
  • Capitalize on opportunities presented by future transit operations
  • Provide a variety of housing opportunities at higher densities
  • Provide better links across rail line to connect adjacent neighborhoods to downtown
