Updates
- The Planning Board reviewed the master plan for the third and final time on Monday, April 29, 2019 at their regularly-scheduled monthly meeting. Staff noted the positive responses that the project team had made in response to earlier Planning Board comments. These responses are described in the Planning Board Staff Analysis on the Documents tab.
- The Master Plan was approved by Town of Davidson staff in early May. The project team must now receive approval for their construction documents before any work on the site can begin.

2019 Phase 6 Master Plan
- In 2018 Blue Heel Development began meeting with staff to explore a new master plan for Phase 6, submitting a complete application for 41 townhomes and one single-family detached home on February 7, 2019.
2016 Map Amendment & Phase 6 Master Plan (Now Expired)
- In 2015, Mountain Real Estate Capital initiated a Master Plan Amendment to remove the requirement for a Storefront/Workplace/Civic component on the west side of Summers Walk Boulevard. This was an amendment to the existing Master Plan (amended 2012).
- The Planning Board reviewed this request on May 23, 2016 and unanimously recommended approval of the Master Plan Amendment on May 23, 2016.
- The Davidson Board of Commissioners heard the request at their June 14, 2016 regular meeting. The Board approved the Master Plan Amendment on June 14, 2016.

- Concurrently, the developer initiated a Master Plan for Phase 6 of Summers Walk illustrating 43 lots, with 30 of those lots being single-family. This plan was approved on June 16, 2016.
